Exercise 5.3

In the evening I did the circuit in the woods that we'd walked earlier in the day. As usual I walked the major descents but this week I ran some of the short, shallow gradients making a big effort to use fast short paces. It's really quite hard work keeping up a high cadence and trying to lift my feet quickly.

During the run I was aware of a tight left hamstring and spots of discomfort moving between left and right and between patellar tendon and quadriceps. At home I did rollering and stretches and things seemed OK.
